At Geneva Residences, we invite you to experience Geneva in a completely new way. From July 1st to August 24th, the city transforms into an interactive playground through Unlock Geneva—a unique blend of art, technology, and urban tourism.

Imagine walking through Geneva’s historic streets while animated characters appear on your phone. That’s exactly what this campaign offers: a fun, free, and accessible experience using augmented reality, ideal for both locals and visitors.

How Does It Work?

All you need is a smartphone and a sense of curiosity. Download the free app “Unlock Geneva” (available on the App Store and Google Play), or scan the QR codes placed at specific locations in the city. Then, simply point your camera and watch as animated illustrations come to life at four iconic landmarks. You can film and share these moments on social media.

The 4 Interactive Locations

1. Rotonde du Mont‑Blanc
   A classic viewpoint near the Jet d’eau becomes a magical photo and video spot.

2. National Monument
   Built in 1869 to commemorate Geneva joining the Swiss Confederation, this site now surprises with digital animations.

3. Old Arsenal (Bourg‑de‑Four)
   Historic cannons and murals that come to life on your screen.

4. Reformation Wall (Parc des Bastions)
   Famous figures like Calvin become animated and interactive through your phone.

Art, Play and Rewards
