This summer, Geneva will transform its iconic lakeside into a spectacular open-air stage with Geneva, Dream of Water (Genève, Rêve d’Eau). From August 7 to 30, 2026, visitors can enjoy a free immersive experience combining water, light, lasers, music and spectacular projections in the heart of the city.
Taking place at the Jardin Anglais, this summer event offers a unique way to experience Geneva and Lake Geneva after sunset and best of all, admission is completely free.
A Celebration of Water, Light and Music
For 24 days, water becomes the main protagonist of an extraordinary visual experience.
During the day, visitors can enjoy short water shows every 30 minutes between 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Each performance lasts approximately four minutes, making it easy to include the experience in a day of sightseeing around Geneva.
Once evening arrives, the show becomes even more impressive. Large fountains, colourful lights, lasers, music and projections displayed on a giant water screen come together to create a 20-minute immersive performance over the lake.
It is a particularly beautiful way to experience one of Geneva's most recognizable landscapes from a completely different perspective.
Evening Shows at Jardin Anglais
The main evening performances take place every day during the event.
From Sunday to Thursday, there are two shows:
9:30 PM – 9:50 PM
10:00 PM – 10:20 PM
On Fridays and Saturdays, visitors can enjoy an additional late performance:
9:30 PM – 9:50 PM
10:00 PM – 10:20 PM
10:30 PM – 10:50 PM
The later schedule on weekends makes the event particularly attractive for visitors looking to enjoy Geneva's lakeside atmosphere at night.
Special DJ Nights
For those looking for an even more festive experience, August 21 and 22 will feature special DJ nights.
After the evening water shows, live music will take over the lakeside, while the fountains and lights continue creating a spectacular backdrop.
It is the perfect combination of music, water and Geneva's summer atmosphere.
A Perfect Location in the Heart of Geneva
Jardin Anglais is one of Geneva's most iconic waterfront locations. Situated between the Mont-Blanc Bridge and the Jet d'Eau, the park is home to the famous Flower Clock and offers beautiful views over Lake Geneva.

How to Get There
Jardin Anglais is easily accessible by public transportation.
The closest stops are Rive and Métropole, located only a few minutes' walk from the event. Several TPG bus lines and tram line 12 serve the area.
Visitors arriving from Cornavin train station can also walk to Jardin Anglais in approximately 15 minutes or take public transportation toward Rive.
During summer, it is even possible to arrive by boat, with the Mouettes genevoises connecting Jardin Anglais with several points around the lake.
